How to sign up as a fixer

Step 1. Sign up as a fixer

On the Fixable homepage (fixable.co) click on the orange box "Become a fixer" or the link in the top menu. Read the information on the next page and then complete the sign-up form.

Step 2. Add a listing for repair services

Once you've signed up, click on Add a Listing, either via the orange button at top right, or via the blue box on the homepage.

This is where you add more detail about your skills and experience, any certifications you have, and really sell yourself. You also set a price for your services per half hour unit to give fixees an idea (you'll agree a price for each job individually). Read more about this in other FAQs or ask us a question via the speech bubble at bottom right or here.

Step 3. Complete Stripe onboarding

To be able to receive payment for your repair services, you need to complete the Stripe onboarding process (our payment processor) by entering your bank details and some other information. Stripe is required under Australian law to request certain information from you to verify your identity. More information here about payments and security.
